HISTORY
Sacred Heart School was founded in 1962 and
operates under the auspices of the Diocese of Manchester. It functions as a
parochial school approved by the State of New Hampshire
It services the parish of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Hampton, NH and families of surrounding parishes. It is also open to students of other denominations.
PHILOSOPHY
As a Catholic educational institution,
Sacred Heart School is pledged to respect the nature of each child and his
dignity as a person. We strive to make the child aware of his eternal destiny;
and his need for total development: spiritual, physical, emotional, and
social.
STAFF
The school is staffed by religious and lay professional educators
as well as part-time educators in the areas of Physical Education, Art, Music,
Health Services, and Library. Each educator is fully qualified, holding a Professional
Certificate from the State of New Hampshire and/or approval from the Diocese of Manchester.
Our staff is constantly engaged in their professional development and continuing education.
SACRED HEART
SCHOOL ADVISORY BOARD
The Board is composed of 15 members representing parishes, students,
the pastor, and principal. The Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Principal.
Its goal is to assist in maintaining the high standards of the school.
