Dear Parishioners:

As principal of Sacred Heart School, I extend a warm welcome to you in the name of our personnel and students. Being a parochial school, we have very close ties to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish.

Sacred Heart is an elementary school located in Hampton, NH and is here to serve Catholics of the Manchester Diocese and others. Our mission is to teach and nurture the whole child, helping each to grow academically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially.

Our school serves students in Pre-K through Grade Eight. Pre-K through Grade  Five are self-contained classes. Grades Six through Eight consist of a departmentalized program in religion, mathematics, language arts, science, computer, and social studies. We have gym, music, and art programs for all grades.

We are fortunate to have priests, religious, and lay personnel who take an active interest in the students of Sacred Heart School. It is important to the development of the children, and one of our goals, that our personnel are professional, dedicated and supportive of a Catholic oriented philosophy of education.

Catholic education, as a mission of Church, needs not only the dedication of professional and morally good personnel but also the involvement of dedicated and morally supportive parents and families. Many of our parents are involved as volunteers in various areas and programs in the school and, of course, the effects of good example are unlimited.

While our gym curriculum contains the rudiments of various sports, the actual team sports programs in soccer, basketball, softball, and baseball are available to students in Grades Six, Seven and Eight on a try-out basis. We have also fielded intramural teams in golf and field hockey.

If you are interested in giving your children a faith based curriculum and atmosphere, please call and find out more about us.

Sincerely in Christ,

     Sister Mary J. Walsh, OLL
