Religious Education | Parent Meetings
It is our goal in the Religious Education/Faith Formation Department to assist all of our parishioners to grow closer to Jesus Christ. As the parents and primary educators of your children, as your faith deepens so will your childrens.
2nd Grade Parent/Guardian Meetings
Sacramental Parent Meetings -
We will meet with all the second grade parents to offer them an enriched understanding of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist, and to answer questions you may have. *NB this year: Both of these meetings are required for your children’s participation in sacrament celebrations.
- First Reconciliation Parent meeting - Tuesday, November 8th from 6:15-7:15pm, in the OLMM Church.
- First Communion Parent meeting - Monday, March 5th from 6:00-7:00pm, in the OLMM Church.
* At least one parent of each child must attend each meeting, but both are welcome.
Attention Grade 1-5 Parents/Guardians
Grade 1-5 Parents - Sunday September 18th and Tuesday September 20th during the first 15 minutes of class - there will be a parent meeting in the SHS Library. Attendance by at least one parent is required, but both are welcome. The meeting will last approximately 15 minutes.
Attention EDGE Parents/Guardians
EDGE Parents - Sunday September 18th and Tuesday September 20th during the last 15 minutes of class - there will be a parent meeting in the SHS Gym on Sunday and the OLMM Church Hall on Tuesday. Attendance by at least one parent is required, but both are welcome. The meeting will last approximately minutes.
Grade 8 Parents - We will be discussing the topic of Chastity with the students in classes on TBD.
Attention Confirmation Parents/Guardians
Confirmation I Parents - Sunday, September 25th from 4:45-6:45pm, at least one parent of each child must attend each meeting, but both are welcome.
Confirmation II Parents - Sunday, October 2nd from 4:45-6:45pm, at least one parent of each child must attend each meeting, but both are welcome.
